Confessions of an Accidental Therapist
Like you, I was supposed to get a good education, then a good job and marry someone that ticked all the boxes, but as I have come to learn (and love) about life – things do not always go as planned.
To understand why I was feeling anxious, overwhelmed, dissatisfied, and generally disconnected from a “purpose” in life, I started on my own path of self-discovery. I began a life long love affair with meditation and mindfulness, a practice that allowed me to get to know myself on a deeper level.
Through a fortunate series of events, I landed face-to-face with my own therapist and it sent me on a journey of profound self-acceptance and healing (from the inside out). In addition, it solidified it. It set me on my path to provide others with the gift of self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-love. Some call me the “Accidental Therapist” because before I went to therapy myself, I could never have imagined doing this work. But now I don’t know how I could do anything else.
After years of studying and working as a
Registered Psychotherapist, I opened up a private practice.
I currently work with my clients across Canada remotely.
I am grateful every day for my clients’ courage, wisdom, and their ‘aha-moments’, which is when I know that our work has changed their lives forever.
I am here to serve you as it suits your needs, and help you create the life that you were meant to be living.
